Bio

My name is Amanda Madala, founder of Brilliant Connection. I hold a masters degree in counseling psychology and have spent my entire twenty year career teaching others to live a fulfilling life of connection, confidence, and  peace. Brilliant Connection was formed out of a desire to serve and teach those struggling with human connection. Everyone deserves authentic relationships where they are seen, heard, and valued. Join me in this mission  to take action and help shift those who feel isolated to a place of belonging and love. It is my belief that teaching social skills in a safe and positive environment is the first step.

"It’s quite rare to find a person such as Amanda , who naturally embodies the characteristics of compassion, organization, inspiration, gentleness and honesty. I had the pleasure of working with Amanda at Jewish and Family Children's Services and can speak to the presence of mind she brings to every interaction, the aptitude she has for connecting with others, and most of all her devotion to improving the lives of those around her. She is true brilliance!" Betsy

"Amanda has exactly what it takes to inspire growth and assist other to flourish. Her unique way of evaluating an individual’s special needs and working out the best way for them to succeed is unmatched. She is filled with compassion and her commitment shines through every life she touches.” Karina

Effectiveness of PEERS for Young Adults

"In summary, findings from the current study strongly support the effectiveness of the PEERS for Young Adults Program for the acquisition and generalization of social skills, as well as the development of social relationships, in high-functioning young adults with ASD. This research serves as an example of a community-based effectiveness study using a randomized controlled trial design to meet the clinical needs of a highly underserved and arguably understudied population (Williams White et al. 2007).
